Our Mission to advance POCUS education
POCUS is rapidly becoming a standard of care for clinicians and the fifth pillar of physical examination. Point of Care Ultrasound has the power to transform bedside diagnosis, clinical decision making, and procedures, regardless of medical specialty. It has great value for every medical professional who performs a physical exam. Indeed, POCUS is the future of medicine.
Unfortunately, POCUS is still not widely used in most specialty areas. There is a lack of accessible ultrasound training available to clinicians who want to become confident, competent POCUS practitioners.
GUSI meets this critical need by equipping medical professionals of all experience levels and specialties with comprehensive POCUS skills through proven education models.
